I think there's still a lot of the people who at some point plan to buy a PS3 or 360 and don't even have broadband.

Anyway, those sales don't surprise me. PS3 has been putting a damper on 360 sales wordwide.
And all 360 has this year is Gears of War 1.5, Grand Theft Borat and Grand Theft Borat: Shivering Isis which requires broadband and all your hard drive space.
PS3 has Resistance 2, Killzone 2, Grand Theft Borat, Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5, Final Fantasy XIII, Little Big Planet.
I think PS3 wins.

Most 360 owners only have 20GB hard drives. When I downloaded Transformers in HD. It took 10GB, that's half of my harddrive already. Of course that gets deleted after you've seen it.
But would expansion of that size even fit on the hard drive? If it's really the size of GTA Vice City?
to say the GTA IV episodes will be equal to Vice City and San Andreas.
Those are not expansion, those are sequels.

Either way, it's certainly something that could sell some consoles.

In the past 2 or 3 months, PS3 has been outselling 360 worldwide. By a small margin.
Next time we hear from Sony, they will say they have sold 11 million. They could have that by the end of the month.

When they said PS3 sold 10.5 million, it was also shipped.
That's how it works. When they sell it to retailers, it's as good as sold to them.
Last time they said they had shipped 17.7 million. So this is no surprise.
Disagree with me all you want. That's just the way it is. PS3 fans want to believe that when Sony says it, they mean sold to customers, and when Microsoft says it, that's it's shipped.

gameplay is usually just tacked on, it doesn't add much to the experience. I've have seen a few decent uses of it.
Ratchet & Clank Future, you use it when Clank flies. I have no problem with that.
And I think by far the best use is in Heavenly Sword, when you shoot arrows and can become them in slow motion.
I don't think they need to get rid of it or anything. I don't think it's a problem.

Resident Evil stopped being scary when they lost the zombies, tight corridors, and jump scares.
Jump scare is when something busts out of a window suddenly.
